The follow-up after diagnosis and treatment should be aimed to detect possible relapses as early as possible. The current follow-up schedules have been developed based on SWENOTECAs own experiences from treating many thousands patients with testicular cancer. It is important to reduce radiation exposure from diagnostic imaging, and as a consequence SWENOTECA recommends the use of MRI in abdominal imaging.
